How to brew green tea
This Chinese green tea blend is the perfect choice for new and seasoned green tea lovers alike, but it is important to remember not to brew at 100°c as this can burn the leaves! Instead, by brewing at 80°c - you can unlock the beautifully light taste of this authentic green tea - so make sure to catch your kettle just before it boils!

What is green tea?
Green tea, like black tea in your English Breakfast, comes from the Camellia Sinensis plant. Once the tea leaves are plucked, they are either roasted or steamed. This prevents the leaves from fermenting, like black tea, creating a much more delicate, fresh flavour.
Does Green Tea Have Caffeine?
Green tea naturally contains caffeine, about half as much a cup of English breakfast tea, or earl grey.
Who are teapigs?
We started back in 2006, because our founders saw that exciting things were happening in coffee, but good quality tea still felt a bit stuffy. We saw the opportunity to get everyone drinking real tea again! By that we mean big on leaf and big on flavour.
